Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM), Patuxent River, Maryland will be issuing task orders to McDonnell Douglas during the period of October 1996-March 1997 under BOA N00421-96-G-1025. The task orders will be for engineering, logistics, and technical support of the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School (USNTPS) Navy MD-369 variant helicopters (converted from OH-6B helicopters). Specific requirements will include engineering analyses and reports, maintenance manuals, technical support, and helicopter parts. As the original equipment manufacturer of the OH-6B helicopter, McDonnell Douglas is the only source possessing the technical capability, technical data, and requisite knowledge of the helicopter.
