NSIA will present its fourth annual Tri-Service Requirements
Conference 5 - 7 November 1996 at Langley AFB, VA. The conference will
be hosted by Gen Richard E. Hawley, USAF, Commander, Air Combat
Command, with support from GEN William W. Hartzog, USA, Commander,
Training and Doctrine Command, and ADM William J. Flanagan, USN,
Commander in Chief, US Atlantic Fleet. ACC, TRADOC and CINCLANTFLT are
the ``user'' proponents for warfighter air, land and sea warfighting
capabilities. Conference attendees will hear representatives from each
Service's warfighting requirements organization describe the process
used to derive and prioritize their needed warfighting capabilities and
hear the results of these analytical processes expressed in terms of
new material requirements. Additionally, the conference plans on having
presentations from each Service's Long Range Planning Group on the
future or warfighting and its implications for that Service and for
industry. The conference will start with a reception honoring the host,
at 5 PM on November 5. Conference sessions will be 6 and 7 November.
The conference will be UNCLASSIFIED. The conference's overall objective
will be to provide industry the information needed to properly focus
its IR&D investments to best pursue the hardware solutions called for
by the warfighters. The Greater Hampton Roads Chapter of NSIA is
