Z -- NORTH PARKING LOT SECURITY SYSTEM SOL 626-18-97-KB DUE 101696 POC Ken Bullington (90C) 615-327-5313 The contractor will provide and install a completely operational closed circuit black and white television monitoring and recording system at the VA Medical Center, 1310 24th Ave. S, Nashville, TN 37212. The system will be a stand alone system completely separate from the existing closed circuit television monitoring and recording system at the VA Medical Center. The contractor will furnish all equipment, supplies, labor and supervision required to provide the system. The system's recording ability must be able to provide simultaneous time based corrected digital recording to tape as full screen images of all 17 cameras (expandable to 32 cameras). The system will have the following control capabilities: (1) Five levels of operator selectable activity detections which will be independent for each camera location; and (2) Two digital recorders which will each have the ability to record 16 cameras simultaneously. The system will have the following major components: (1) System control unit in Room B120B, which will include 4 each, black and white 9 inch (measured diagonally) CRT screens and one each 15 inch CRT screen. (2) System recording unit in Room B120B. (3) 19 each, cameras- 16 camera locations will be outdoors and 3 camera locations will be indoors. (4) A separate review and editing unit located in Room B118A. The cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Pre-bid site inspection will be held o/a 10/3/96 at 10:00A.M local time.
