This is an amendment to the combined synopsis/solicitation N00421-96-R-1156 for ALLIANT TECHSYSTEMS ENHANCED AIRBORNE MULTIPLEXERS MODEL 7895 originally published in the CBD on Thursday, August 14, 1996. NOTICE: At the end of this amendment the following note will appear: END OF TEXT. If this occurs, please call the Contract Specialist and a full version will be faxed to you.The purpose of this amendment is threefold: (1) to extend the bid opening date;(2) add the destination address and (3) to specify the terms and conditions of the indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract . The bid opening date is extended to 12 September 1996 from 21 August 1996. All offers are due to Chris Hampel (Code 261CH), Contract Group, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Building#110, Villa Rd., St. Inigoes 20684-0010, by 2:30p.m. EST 12 September 1996. This procurement shall be F.O.B. destination and delivered to Receiving Officer, NAWCAD Patuxent River, Building#115, Villa Rd., St. Inigoes, MD 20684-0010. The Government intends to negotiate a 3 (THREE) year indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract; the minimum quantity of 6 (SIX) will be placed concurrent with the award (expected to be 1 February 1997) with a delivery schedule of 2 (TWO) units on 1 June 1997, 2(TWO) units on 1 July 1997, and 2 (TWO) units on 1 August 1997. The balance of the maximum quantity may be ordered within the 3 year period with expected delivery within 4 months after date of order. Inspection and acceptance shall be made at destination. The clause at 52.216-18 ORDERING (OCT 1995) is incorporated by reference and item(a) is completed as follows:''...orders may be issued from the anticipated award date of 1 February 1996 through 1 February 1999''. The clause at 52.216-19 ORDER LIMITATIONS (OCT 1995) is incorporated by reference and at para (a), insert the minimum order of 6 (SIX) and at para (b) subpara (1) and (2), insert the maximum order of 30 (THIRTY), and in subpara(3), insert 4 months and para(d) is completed as follows''... the contractor shall honor any order exceeding the maximum order limitations in para (b), unless that order (or orders) is returned to the ordering office within 7 days after issuance...''. The clause at 52.216-22 INDEFINITE QUANTITY (OCT 1995) is incorporated by reference and item (b) is completed as follows:''...the contractor shall not be required to make any deliveries under this contract after 30 June 1999.
