58 -- AN/ARC-210(V) RECEIVER TRANSMITTER SOL N00019-95-C-0004 POC Contact, Brian Neiheisel, Phone (703)604-2119 On a sole source basis, the Naval Air Systems Command intends to contract with Rockwell International Corporation, Collins Avionics and Communications Division (CACD), for modification/conversion of 57 Government furnished Receiver Transmitters from the RT1556 to the SATCOM RT1747B, as part of the ARC-210(v) radio program. CACD is the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the AN/ARC-210(V) radio, and is the only firm with the necessary knowledge, data, equipment, and experience to perform this effort within the time constraints of the U.S. Navy.
