The International Broadcasting Bureau, Contracts and Procurement Division intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the acquisition of data cable installation services. These services shall consist of pulling, installing and testing the installation of three (3) cabling systems within a common 500 foot cable tray in coordination with a general office remodeling project: 1) 500 feet of Thicknet-Ethernet and 63 Thicknet- Ethernet transceivers and work location AUI drops; 2) double strand fiber optic cable to 63 work locations along cable tray; and 3) two (2) separate runs category five unshielded twisted pair cable to 63 work locations along cable tray. All cable shall begin and terminate at specified connectors and/or face plates. Contractor shall provide all material, equipment and labor to complete all work.
