This is a synopsis for closing down Geiger Field Housing Area. The work includes: closing off the water main to each unit. Thoroughly draining and blowing out all water pipes and lines. Putting anti-freeze in the sinks and p-traps and the toilets. Draining the hot water tanks. Securing plywood to the exterior of all doors and windows with wood screws. Installing a `No Trespassing' sign to the board that covers the exterior doors of each unit. Install signs on the doors on the front and back of each unit in the 4-plex. Plywood will be a minimum of 1/2' thick and of exterior grade. There are 32 duplexes; 7 single family units; 1, 2 story 4-plex unit. Total of 75 units. Performance period is 30 days after the Notice to Proceed. This project is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Simplified Acquisition procedures will be used. (236)
