The National Naval Medical Center has a requirement for the Flow Cytometry Branch, Laboratory Medicine Department. NNMC intends to award a sole sourced standing order to Coulter Corporation for flow cytometry reagents. Coulter Corporation manufactures the only reagents that is compatible with their Epice XL-MCL-4 Color Flow Cytometer. The following item will be procured (1) Forty-eight (48) kits Catalog #6603152 Whole Blood Lysing Kit, four (4) kits to be delivered every month. Award will be made in the form of a purchase order for a base period of one (1) year effective 1 October 1996 through 30 September 1997 with four (4) years options. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This acquisition is being conducted under the guidelines as set forth in the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Award will be contingent upon availability of FY97 funding. (239)
