The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), DTS42, 2300 East Drive, Scott AFB, IL, 62225-5406 intends to issue a solicitation to NCR Corporation, #2 Choke Cherry Road, Rockville, MD, 220850-4030 for proprietary software maintenance. Maintenance is for 31 Tier 5 licenses for two Model 5675-B COMTEN front End Processors (FEPs) and 18 Tier 3 licenses for one Model 5655-B, located at Defense Megacenter Denver, 6760 E. Irvington Place, Denver, CO, 80279-8000. This solicitation will provide for renewal of proprietary monthly maintenance license agreements to include updates, new releases, revisions and enhancements via single point distribution and 24 hours/7 day a week telephone response support for NCR COMTEN software. The period of performance is 1 October 1996 through 30 September 1997. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1).
