CABRILLO NATIONAL MONUMENT, DEATH VALLEY NATIONAL PARK, GOLDEN GTE
NATIONAL RECREATION AREA, POINT REYES NATIONAL SEASHORE, AND USS
ARIZONA MEMORIAL POC Mac Foreman (415) 744-3981. The National Park
Service intends to renew limited concession permits on January 1, 1997,
for a period of four years at the following five national park areas;
Cabrillo National Monument, Death Valley National Park, Golden Gate
National Recreation Area, Point Reyes National Seashore, and USS
Arizona Memorial. The limited service provided to the visitors at the
above locations is accomplished through each park's cooperating
association outlet, which are independent operations and not associated
with one another. They provide visitors with limited convenience items
in conjunction with their present cooperative association
authorizations. The amount of sales are relativity small and are
associated with the particular visitors needs at each park. The service
is restricted to limited number of items, ranging from 3-7 items, and
would not be profitable as a free standing business. The current
operators have performed satisfactory and this administrative action is
pursuant to the provisions of Section 5 of the Act of October 9, 1965,
