The Albuquerque Area Indian Health Service intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Personal Services on or about September 3, 1996. Service for a Registered Nursing include carrying out physicians orders, administer medication, oxygen, blood transfusions and a variety of treatment, manage a wide variety of therapeutic devices such as drainage, feeding and suction tubes, respiratory, electrocardiographic machines, etc., measure vital signs, collect or assist in collection of specimens, initiate and maintain resuscitation measures and other emergency procedures as appropriate to the situation. Duties also include Progressive Care, Obstetrics, Operating Room, and Public Health Nursing. Proposed contract will be for a period of 1 year beginning October 1, 1996.
