The Navy has a requirement for the services of (8) Pharmacists to provide (5) months of service from October 1, 1996 through February 28, 1997 at National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, MD and intends to negotiate with Columbia Healthcare Services, Inc., 20401 Cabana Drive, Germantown, MD 20876 as the only source. See Notes 22 and 26. The Navy intends to extend Contract N62645-92-C-0032 with Columbia Healthcare Services to provide continuity of services until the follow-on solicitation is awarded on a competitive basis. A firm fixed price contract modification is contemplated. The follow-on solicitation for this effort is being procured as a competitive 8(a) procurement and was advertised in the Commerce Business Daily on July 1, 1996 under Solicitation Number N62645-96-R-0032.
