R -- AEGIS COMBAT SYSTEM ENGINEERING/INTEGRATION/INTEGRATED LOGISTICS SUPPORT SOL N00024-96-R-5116 POC Linda McCarthy, Contracting Officer, (703) 602-8105, Ext. 513 The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award a sole source Foreign Military Sales contract to Lockheed Martin, Government Electronic Systems, 199 Borton Landing Rd, Moorestown, NJ 08057-0927. The contract will provide AEGIS FMS combat system engineering, software support, system and ship integration, staging, and integrated logistics support to include training and technical manuals, for the Spanish FMS F-100 AEGIS Combat System Program. The contract will be issued under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), because Lockheed Martin, Government Electronic Systems, is the only firm available with the requisite resources to economically meet contract requirements within the desired delivery schedule. LM/GES is the AEGIS Combat System Engineering Agent and AEGIS Weapon System developer. The anticipated period of performance is from award through December 2004. See Numbered Notes 22 and 26. (0241)
