The Bureau of Land Management, (BLM) has a requirement for recreation site maintenance, including janitorial, manning the visitor contact building, light maintenance on buildings and grounds, and routine operation of the water treatment plant and supply system at Empire Landing Recreation Site, Crossroad Off-Highway Vehicle Area, and Copper Basin Off-Highway Vehicle Area. The Empire Landing Recreation Site covers approximately 16 acres and is located in San Bernardino County, California, on the Colorado River, Earp to Parker Dam Road from the Big Bend Resort. There are some government furnished supplies, however, the contractor shall furnish all transportation, labor, supervision, and additional supplies equipment and other tools needed to perform the required services. The contractor shall also furnish a small utility- type vehicle. The performance of services will be in accordance with a pre-determined schedule from the date of award (approximately November 1, 1996) to September 30, 1997, plus two one year option periods.
