S -- SECURITY GUARD SERVICES FOR THE DHHS HUBERT H. HUMPHREY BUILDING SOL RFP-44-96-HHS-OS POC Cheryl L. Howe (202) 690-5552 The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) requires a contractor to provide security guard services for the Humphrey Building (HHH) at 200 Independence Avenue, SW, in Washington, D.C. The security guards will control access to that building 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. This contract will provide for the physical security and well being of the employees, visitors and others in the HHH and for the physical security of the HHH and its immediate surroundings. Security guards are responsible for protective control over the contents of the building and the protection of occupants. The period of performance shall be one year with four option years. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses, Standard Industrial Code 7381. Requests for this RFP must be made in writing to the above listed contact and address.
