The Indian Health Service (IHS) through the General Acquisitions Branch, PSC is seeking to identify parties interested in provideing HIV/AIDS training and administrative support services to the Office of Health Promotions (OHP). The IHS requires an American Indian or Alaskan Native (AI/AN) organization to design, develop and conduct HIV/AIDS prevention education and training programs for IHS employees and representatives of AI/AN organizations and communities. The work requires the contractor to collect data, prepare statistical reports and develop, test and conduct trainng programs for the purpose of preventing AIDS in AI/AN and health care workers treating AI/AN persons infected with the AIDS virus. Prospective offerors should be sensitive to the cultrual issues of AI/AN, knowledgeable of the epidemiology, transmission and control of HIV/AIDS, skilled in the design of training programs and capable of providing professional administrative support to the IHS.
