Officer. This acquisition is for long term life cycle support of AGCS
Electronic Digital Switch Systems installed at DOD sites worldwide.
This will include support services such as Contractor Depot Level
Support, remote diagnostics, emergency technical assistances,
software/equipment upgrades, training and technical data. An Indefinite
Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract consisting of a base year and 4
option years is anticipated. Draft solicitation documents will be
issued via the Electronic Bulletin Board (EBB) on or about Sep 96. An
Identification Code and Password are necessary to gain access to the
EBB. For those contractors who do not have an ID code or password,
please see the following instructions to obtain one: The U.S. Army
Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) has established an
Electronic Bulletin Board (EBB) to provide electronic transmittal of
request for proposals (RFPs) and invitations for bids (IFBs) from
Government to Industry. Effective 1 October 1994, all solicitations
issued from Ft. Monmouth for acquisitions over the small purchase
threshold will be solicited via the EBB. After 1 October 1994, only
those parties who do not have the equipment necessary to access the EBB
will be forwarded hard copies on request. However, as of 1 January
1995, hard copies will no longer be distributed (exceptions are post,
camp and station acquisitions.) All interested parties wishing to do
business with CECOM are invitied to access, operate, send and receive
data from the CECOM EBB System. To become a user of the EBB you will
need an identification code and password in addition to a computer
terminal equipped with the necessary hardware and software to interface
with the EBB system. Detailed information regarding system requirements
is contained in the U.S. Army CECOM EBB user's manual. A user's manual,
identification code and password will be issued upon request. All
requests must include (1)Company Name), (2) Points of Contact, Names
and Titles, (3) Return addresses, and (4) Telephone numbers. Please
