The Product Manager Tactical Endurance Synthetic Aperture Radar (TESAR) intends to procure two sets of TESAR Ground Control Station (GCS) Workstations on a sole-source basis under contract DAAB07-95-D-J252, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, from Northop Grumman Corp., Baltimore MD. These workstations will be delivered for integration into the Predator Medium Altitude Endurance Unmanned Air Vehicle Ground Control Station. The TESAR GCS workstations interface with the Ku band SATCOM link to recieve the TESAR imagery and auxiliary data; format it for display on their high resolution monitors and provide the man-machine interface for target selection and cueing to the Predator Data Exploitation and Mission Planning Console. The TESAR workstations also provide the user the ability to monitor selected key parameters of the airborne Synthetic Aperture Radar during operation. The TESAR workstations, primarily consisting of COTS equipment, were developed under the TESAR ACTD program and are an integral part of the Predator Ground Control Station. See numbered note (22).
