Telefax No. 301-981-1911 This is a combined Synopsis/Request for Proposal (RFP) for commercial itemsprepared in accordance with the format specified in FA Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and awritten RFP will not be issued. Prices preferred as FOB Destination Andrews AFB, Maryland 20762-6500. Vendors quoting other than FOB Destination must include all freight and shipping charges within their proposal by the time the proposal is due. Responses to this RFP must be received by 15 SEP 96, 14:00 Eastern Standard Time. Delivery and Paying Station adresses will be provided upon award. Award is to be based upon price and other factors in accordance withFAR Clause 52.212-2 and as specified in descending order of importance: 1. PastPerformance with regard to the offerors ability to obtain, manufacture or provideand deliver the supplies in the time specified, 2. Technical capability and quality ofthe items offered and 3. Price. Past Performance and technical capability and quality rate considerably higher than Price. Offerors are required to document PastPerformance suitably and provide opportunity for verification.
