Troccoli Contracting Officer (Site Code DAAD05) This is a combined synopsis/solictation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; Bids are being requested and a written solictation will not be issued. This solictation is being issued as an Invitation For Bids number DAAD05-96-B-0028. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular number 96-39. The SIC code for this solicitation is 3826 and the associated small business size standard iss 500 employees. The United States Army Garrison Aberdeen Proving Grounds Directorate of Contracting has a requirement for the following items/quantities: 1) 10,000 each Cassette Pump Assemblies to include housing cover, bobbin and mold and 2) 10,000 each Scrubber Plastic with side plug and mold. Items shall meet the following minimum specifications: Cassette Pump Assembly shall be a housing for a liquid pump that operates with Power Engineering Manufacturing (PEM) Liquid Sampler part number PEM-0010. Cassette Assembly shall be a molded plastic box with a rotor and a cover. Cassette Assembly material shall be Lexan 141, light yellow in color. Cassette size shall be 3.62'' length x 2.00'' depth x 1.36'' height. Cassette shall contain 6 retaining slots and holes for the pumping tubes. Cassette cover size shall be 3.62'' length x 2.00'' depth x 0.135'' height with a slot 1.5'' long. Cassette rotor diameter shall be 0.5''. Delivery and acceptance shall take place within 60 days of award date, FOB Destination to Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland 21010. The Provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this solicitation as well as the provision at 52.212- 2, Evaluation-Commercial Items. Award of this solicitation shall be made to the low priced technically acceptable bidder. In order to be considered technically acceptable, the bidder must meet the requirements stated above. Bidders must quote on all items in this solicitation to be eligible for award. The Government will award on an ''all or none'' basis. A written notice of award or acceptance of offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful bidder within the time for acceptance specified in the offer shall result in a binding contract without further actions by either party. Bidders shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52. 212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with its bid.
