The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) plans to issue a solicitation for the purchase of Typographic Currency Overprintng and Processing Equipment (COPE) Green Ink, in accordance with BEP Specification No. I: TCGB-1C, dated May 16, 1996. The contract type will be Firm Fixed-Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity. The period of performance will be for one (1) twelve (12) month base period and two (2) 12-month option periods. Estimated quantities for deliveries to the Washington, D. C. facility are: 11,000 lbs. for the base period; 11,800 lbs. for the first option period; and 10,200 lbs. for the second option period. Estimated quantities for the Fort Worth, Texas facilitiy are: 8,400 lbs. for the base period; 8,600 lbs. for the first option period; and 8,200 lbs. for the second option period. The solicitation will be available on or about October 7, 1996. Interested firms must submit a written request for a copy of Solicitation No. BEP-96-43(TN) to Larry McCain, Contract Specialist.
