The Fleet Industrial and Supply Center (FISC), Phila. intends to issue an extension modification to Contract N00140-92-D-CC30 with Fisherman's Hospital of Marathon, FL covering the period 01 Oct 96 to 31 Mar 97. The contract covers off-site diagnostic radiology services in support of the Naval Medical Clinic in Key West, FL. This extension is necessary to bridge the period between the expiration of the current contract and the anticipated start date for the follow-on contract. This extension is being processed under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source as implemented by FAR 6.303-1 since Fishermen's Hospital is the only source that can provide services to meet all the Navy's requirements by 01 Oct 96. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties shall identify their capability to provide the required off-site radiology services within 15 days after the date of publication of this notice in order to be considered by the Government.
