Q -- PHYSICIAN PRECERTIFICATION UTILIZATION REVIEW The Division of Medicaid, Office of the Governor, State of Mississippi, is planning to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to provide physician precertification utilization review (UR) for all Medicaid inpatient services, and peer review (PR) for all Medicaid services when requested. The UR services shall include but not be limited to: Pre-admission Review, Concurrent and Continued Stay Review, Retrospective Review, Swing Bed Review, Quality Assurance Review, Inpatient Psychiatric Review, Acute and Residential. The Division of Medicaid seeks information regarding currently available UR/PR services, technology, and experience in providing UR/PR services.
