The work to be performed under this project involves the improvements
to an existing dining hall including the addition of a new exit door
and exterior stairs, serving line and kitchen equipment, HVAC and
lighting. The estimated construction cost range is $100,000 to
$250,000. The estimated completion time is 224 calender days. Plans and
Specifications will be available on September 27, 1996, from the office
of the Architect/Engineer, Probst-Mason, Inc., Architects, 3200 Elm
Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21211, contact Joseph Briggs (410) 467-9700
for additional information regarding this project. Collect calls will
not be accepted. It is emphasized that requests for plans and
specifications shall be directed to the A/E firm listed above to ensure
proper handling of requests. Requests will be answered on a first-come,
first -serve basis until supplies are exhausted. For requests made
after the supply is exhausted, the Contracting Officer may determine
whether payment of a fee is warranted. The non-refundable fee shall not
exceed the actual cost of duplication of the IFB documents, plus COD
charges. A pre-bid walk-thru is scheduled October 22, 1996, at 9:00
a.m. local time. Bid-opening is November 12, 1996, at 2:00 p.m. local
time. This is a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The Standard Industrial
