58 -- DAMA AND COMSEC RADIO SETS SOL S-OPRAQ-96-R-0627 DUE 091596 POC Nicholas Dinkel, Contract Specialist, 703/875-6843 or Edna D.; Simmons, Contracting Officer, 703/875-6056 The fourteen DAMA and COMSEC radio sets shall operate on 25kHz (wideband) and 5 kHz (narrowband) platforms. Units shall meet all requirements of the Joint Chief of Staff DAMA platform (MJCS-63-89: 17 April 1989) to include Department of Defense Mil Std 188-181 (Narrowband/Wideband dedicated SATCOM), 188-182 (5 kHz DAMA SATCOM) and 188-183 (25 kHz DAMA SATCOM). The Contractor may purchase from the Government fourteen unused Motorola LST-5E embedded COMSEC radio sets, part number 01-P33000B001. The units will be ''traded-in'' for the fourteen DAMA units purchased by the Government from the Contractor. The LST-5E radio sets were purchased by the Government in 1994 and are in their original packaging. The radio sets consist of a transceiver, battery box, handset and manual.
