The contractor shall provide three 13.8-kV, 25 MVAR, Air Core Reactors with an optional 5 year warranty, to the Hinton Substation, 2 miles south of Hinton Iowa. The air core reactors shall be in accordance with the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standard C57.21-1990, except as otherwise specified. A single award is anticipated. The solicitation will be issued on or about August 30, 1996, on an unrestricted basis. All bids from responsible sources will be considered. All requests for ths solicitation shall be in writing.
