Boyd (301) 677-5131 (Site Code DAHC36) Furnish all labor, materials and equipment to perform all work required to conduct chemical characterization of potable water and Wastewater Discharge by an Industrial complex and the Influent and Effluent Wastewater at the Fort George G. Meade Wastewater Treatment Plant, Fort George G. Meade, MD for the period 1 January 1997 through 31 December 1997 with two-one year option periods. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns and has a SIC Code of 8734 and a small business size standard of $5 million. The following special standards of responsibility apply to this solicitation: The successful bidder shall be certified for the duration of the contract period (Title 26 of the Environment, Subtitle 08 Water Pollution, Chapter 05, Certification of State Water Quality Labs, Authority Environmental Article, Title 9, Subtitle 10, Annotated Code of Maryland, dated November 21, 1983) by the date of contract award. Failure to be in possession of the required certification by the contract award date will result in the contract not being awarded to an otherwise acceptable firm. Place of Performance is not known at this, as all services other than pick-up and delivery of samples will occur at Contractor's facility. The Contracting Officer has requested Wage Determinations for the following areas: Howard and Anne Arundel Counties, Maryland; York, Dauphin and Cumberland Counties, Pennsylvania; Arlington County, Virginia, Yolo County, California and Rusk County, Texas. The Contracting Officer will request wage determinations for additional possible places of performance, if asked to do so in writing. All such requests must be received by the Contracting Officer no later than 15 days after the date of publication of this notice, unless an extension is granted.
