Wandick (816) 425-6823, Ext. 237 The government intends to procure aircraft service changes (ASC) and spare parts for the NOAA Aircraft Operations Center (AOC), 1994 Gulfstream G-IV SP high altitude fixed-wing N49RF, Serial Number 1246. The contractor shall provide parts, special tools, and labor to comply with the requested aircraft service changes (ASC) when the aircraft arrives at the contractor's facility. The contractor shall provide scheduled, unscheduled, and warranty work, which shall be done in accordance with all current, AOC Operating Manual, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), and FAA regulations. The contractor shall provide the following types of service: compliance with ASC 313 Perusurization Control, ASC 280 Windsheild electric protection, ASC 264 Engine cowl drains, and ASC 364 Cabin door seal. The contractor shall also provide the necessary repairs to avionics and navigation systems, all subsystems installed in the aircraft, and interior and external comedic reworks, and repairs, on an as needed basis. The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) is Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. The contractor will be responsible for all documentation and log book entries. Acceptable aircraft down time (out of service) is two (2) to three (3) weeks subject to penalties (liquidated damage). The evaluation of bids shall be based on, but not limited to, the lowest total evaluated amount, quality of the warranty offered, and past performance of similar jobs. Insurance requirements will also be considered. This procurement is a proposed sole source. If there are no other qualified vendors, the procurement will be issued to Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation of Savannah, Georgia. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued on or about September 17, 1996. Interested parties should submit their interest within 15 calendar days from the date of the CBD announcement. Copies of the RFQ may be requested in writing by faxing a request to (816) 426-7530. Satisfactory receipt of the request is the sole responsibility of the vendor. (0243)
