Border Patrol Academy Satellite Training Facility, in Charleston, SC for a contract to be performed with a base and approximately 3 option years with a start date of 1 April 1997. Contract to be a Fixed Price, Indefinate Delivery/Indefinate Quantity with Time and Material provisions. The acquisition is being offered for competition as a small business set-aside. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, personnel, comprehensive student support and facility-based services necessary to operate the Training Facility and ancillary support facilities. Draft statements of work are currently being prepared and will be sent to prospective sources, upon written request. Solicitations will be sent to prospective sources who respond to this announcement as well as receive early notification of all critical meetings such as site inspections, pre-proposal conference, etc. A contract award date of 15 January 1997 is anticipated. The award will be made on a best value basis. See Note 26. A site inspection of the facilities is tentatively scheduled for 16 September 1996.
