Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) is seeking is extend the period of
performance for an additional twelve (12) months under the present
contract with Coopers & Lybrand. The PBGC seeks to increase the total
hours available under the contract to acquire professional services for
designing and developing additional scripts associated with the
Customer Service Center Support Systems. Prior knowledge of PBGC's
Participant Operations and Customer Service Environment are required to
fully support the design and development of the Customer Service
application. This is a continuation of work already being undertaken by
an existing provider. The provider has the capabilities and knowledge
gained from experience with the existing Customer Service Application.
It is PBGC's belief that in view of the provider's familiarity with
PBGC's participant service designed requirements, the provider is
uniquely qualified to perform the duties of the contract without an
undue amount of assistance from the PBGC. This is not a request for
