The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) seeks to increase hours and extend an existing contract for one year to maintain a pension administration system for trusted pension plans. This includes the same service that are currently being provided to the Field Benefit Administrator and includes but are not limited to access to established data bases, interaction with data base for the pension administration system, programming data for reports, developing tapes and maintaining the data and tapes. The current provider is presently holding both the data and the capability for operation of the only administrative system available for these plans. It is PBGC's belief that since the current provider has the only available system, it is therefore uniquely qualified to perform the duties of the contract. This is not a request for proposals.
