This is a notice of intent to issue RFQ EASC 97-2047 to provide services to augment and backup the Automated Surface Observing System (ASOS), disseminate and record backup observations as required and perform preventative maintenance of equipment, and carry out administrative duties as required. The location is Greater Pittsburgh International Airport, Pittsburgh, PA. Contractor shall provide certified weather observers. Contractor shall operate site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Contract period will be from October 1, 1996 to February 28, 1997. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. All responsible small business sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the agency. All RFQ requests must be in writing. No telephone requests will be accepted.
