Provide all labor and materials to demolish and replace the existing guard station, gates and operators at the Fort Worth Federal Center located at 501 W. Felix Street, Fort Worth, TX. The existing guard station is of brick masonry construction and is approximately 35 ft. wide and 48 ft. long. Demolition of the existing reinforced concrete foundation is also required. Existing gates are 10 ft. high, chain link with chain operators. The new guard station will be approximately 20 ft. x 20 ft., wood stud construction with brick veneer, storefront windows and composition roofing. New gates will be chain link with chain drive operators. Project also includes demolition and installation of new train grade crossing. Grade crossing is approximately 27 ft. in length. Other sitework includes approximately 650 square yards of concrete pavement and rerouting of existing utilities. The anticipated cost for all demolition and construction work is between $175,000 to $250,000. Presolicitation Notice to be sent out on or about 9/3/96. Solicitation will be issued on or about 9/5/96. Bids will be due on 10/04/96.
