This will be an indefinite quantities contract for the period from date of contract award to September 30, 1997 to perform the routine maintenance activities on the secondary road system for the Savannah River Site near Aiken, SC. Work will include approximately 400 miles of blading gravel surfaced roads, spot repair of washed roadbeds, installation of water bars and similar activities using borrow material (approx. 4000 cubic yards) and crusher-run surfacing (approx. 10,000 tons). Other activities will include, but is not limited to, tree removal, pulling road ditches, spreading seed, fertilizer and mulch, dust abatement (watering) of roads, and equipment rental. SRS is a restricted access Government facility and all persons entering SRS must be U.S. citizens. (243)
