65 -- TELERADIOLOGY/PICTURE ARCHIVING AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM SOL 689-139-96 DUE 092096 POC Mark Phillips, 203-937-3086 This is a combined Synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation: Proposals are being requested and ''Written Solicitation'' will not be issued. Solicitation 689-137-96 is issued as a request for proposal and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 40. Supply and install F.O.B. destination a Teleradiology/Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) at the VA Connecticut Healthcare System, West Haven and Newington Campuses. System shall be brand name or equal to the following equipment supplied by E-Systems Medical Electronics, 115500 IH West Suite 200, San Antonio, TX 78230. One (1) P-DX CT DICOM Interface Including network interface to link Picker PQ-2000 for digital image transfer directly into PACS network; One (1) EMED CR Gateway to convert Fuji CR digital image data into DICOM 3.0 format and transfers the data to the PACS network for distribution, display and archiving; One (1) StatView DX ScanStation including Controlling computer color monitor, video card, network connection SV/DX database software, L-75 Laser Film digitizer; One (1) EMED StatSend Teleradiology Option; Sun SPARC 20, 128 MB Ram, (2) X 2gb Internal Disk, 5 GB tape backup FDDI connection, 37.8 GB SPARC storage array, UPS, PACSPRO/DX Server Software; One (1) PNET/FDDI including Phase 1 network hubs, host adapter cards and node interfaces; one (1) CISCO 4000-M 4 Port Multi-protocol router FDDI module 16 MB upgrade; one (1) CISCO 2501; one (1) FACSPRO/DX-4 Diagnostic View Station including 4 Megascan 2048X2560 x 12 bit display monitors; two (2) StatView/DX-2M Clinical ViewStations including 2 Megascan 1280X1600 display monitors; one (1) Print Spooler; and installation, training and familiarization including one month on-site training from date of acceptance. Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) #5045, Computer, Peripheral Equipment and Software shall apply to this procurement.
