NORWEGIAN AIRCRAFT The following notification is being circulated in
accordance with Article 10.6. G/TBT/Notif. 96.283. 1. Member to
Agreement notifying: NORWAY. If applicable, name of local government
involved (Articles 3.2 and 7.2): 2. Agency responsible: Norwegian
Telecommunications Authority Agency or authority designated to handle
comments regarding the notification can be indicated if different from
above: 3. Notified under Article 2.9.2. 4. Products covered (HS or
CCCN where applicable, otherwise national tariff heading. ICS numbers
may be provided in addition, where applicable): VHF FM radio equipment
to be used on board Norwegian aircraft, using phase modulation in the
frequency band 138 - 178 MHz. The equipment is intended to be used in
the communication system of the Norwegian public health sector. This
communication system is based on the old Norwegian manual mobile phone
system, which is peculiar to Norway. 5. Title, number of pages and

Requirements for VHF FM Equipment To Be Used On Board Norwegian
Aircraft, 29 pages. 6. Description of content: The regulations specify
the minimum requirements to be met in order to obtain type approval.
