This project consists of installing raised access flooring to accomodate electrical conduits and communication network. The Contractor shall provide interior and exterior ramps and handrails at several entrances to comply with Unified Accessibility Standard. The Contractor shall perform various finishing operation. The Contractor will be required to provide special coordination of work with the user, and other government Contractors. The Contractor shall relocate existing wood structure and after installation of the raised flooring will locate it on the raised flooring. The Contractor shall provide a shop drawing layout for the entire work. There will be an option bid item for the raised flooring for factory installed carpet. The entire performance period is 60 calandar days. This project is a firm fixed simplified acquisition procedure. The magnitude of construction is $25,000 to $100,000. The site visit is scheduled for 10:00 am local time on 20 SEP 96. The Statement of Work will be provided at the site visit.
