The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials, and equipment to ventilate the Hazmat Minimization Center at Bldg. R-22 at the rate of six (6) air changes per hour. The ventilation system shall operate continuosly on a twenty-four hour per day every day basis. The work includes, but is not limited to, demolishing an removing the existing fans and preparing the existing curbs to receive replacement units; provide and install new fans, v-belt explosion proof motor, control center for exhaust fans, weatherproof closure with filters and bird screen, provide and install fan EF-3, provide and install a control center for exhaust fans consisting of dry transformer and control relays, provide and install new heating coil, steam piping, freeze protection immersion plug and disconnect switch. remove branch duct fitted with vaned tee section, provide and install electric circuit. The proposed procurement is 100% set-aside for emerging small business concerns. The SIC code for this procurement is 1711, the size standard for emerging small businesses is $3.5 million.
