all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary to replace the
two main chillers at the General Mail Facility for Albuquerque, New
Mexico, including incidental work described in the Contract Documents.
The work includes rough carpentry, reroofing, roof accessories, sheet
metal, fire rated doors and frames, hardware, electrical systems, and
partial demolition of the existing chillers and associated equipment.
Site access and construction areas will be limited. Extensive
construction coordination and sequencing are required to ensure full
time operation of the existing facility. There is a one-time, pay-in
advance, non-refundable charge of $35.00 for each copy of the
solicitation requested. Written requests, along with check or money
order (no cash) must be mailed to A&D Draft-Aid, Inc, Attention: USPS
Solicitation 96-A-0296, 1145 Bannock St, Denver CO 80204-3428.
Construction cost range is between $255,200 and $355,200. There will be
no public opening of the offers. The number of offers received, the
identity of the offerors, the amount of any one offer, or relative
standing of the offeror will not be disclosed to anyone until after
award of contract is made and the request is submitted in writing. All
offerors are encouraged to submit their proposal by one of the methods
offered by the US Postal Service (Express Mail, Priority Mail or First
