This procurement will be a Five Year Indefinite Delivery/ Quantity Type Contract. FOB Destination with required delivery of 6 each to New Cumberland, PA, 16 each to Stockton, CA, 19 each to Texarkana, TX, deliveries with First Article Test starting 534 days ADC at 20 each and then 21 each per month thereafter until completion. Delivery of First Article Test Report 234 days ADC. Deliveries without First Article Test of 41 each beginning 270 days ADC. This procurement requires prequalification. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Authority and justification is FAR 6.302.1, Only one Source or Only a Limited Number of Responsible Sources. This proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government does not have specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition; however, it is restricted to approved sources McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Co,Mesa AZ, American Fuel Cell and Coated, Magnolia AR, and Engineered Fabrics Corp, Rockmart, GA. The time required for approval of new supplies is such that award and delivery cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations IAW the instructions contained in Section L of the solicitation.
