Imager shall electronically locate and measure radiolabels directly on gels, blots, TLC plates, etc directly on flat samples with dimensions up to 20 x 24 centimeter area. Image acquisition display and analysis shall be at least 100 times faster than the use of X-ray films. The data acquisition computer system shall be a Microsoft Windows based personal computer. The system shall contain a microchannel array detector of at least 200,000 microchannels per a 20 x 24 centimeter area with extremely large linear counting range on the order of one million CPM and high speed spatial readout precision.
