presolicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5, but is Market Research
to identify sources who posses capability and experience in the
manufacture of this type of equipment. This is not an indication that
the Air Force intends to contract for these items. the government
estimates the acquisition of approximately 148 ACVRs to support
instillation in the HH-60 Helicopter. A level III data package has been
developed by Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) and will be made
available for viewing at a later date. Since this will be the first
time the data package has been utilized for production the incumbent
contractor must also posses technical/engineering capability and
experience. The contractor will require access to classified material
and posses facilities and personnel cleared to the ``Secret'' level.
The Air Force will not pay for information received in response to this
sources sought synopsis. this survey is to determine the availability
of firms pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part
10.002(b)(iii) and does not constitute and Invitation for Bid or
Request for Proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the
Government. Respondents to this notice will be sent a Draft Copy of
the Statement of Objective (SOO), a more detailed description of the
ACVR, and Contractor Capability Survey which requests capability
information. Contractors must provide a copy of their approved DD Form
2345, Military Critical Data Agreement, with their request.

determined therefore the release of information to foreign sources will

contain Company name, Address, Point of contact, CAGE Code, Phone
number, Size of business pursuant to Standard Industrial Classification
(SIC) Code 3812 (750 Employees), and a statement of domestic or foreign
ownership. Foreign owned sources should indicate the country of
ownership. Large and small businesses are encouraged to participate in
this survey. All requests for information must be received no later
