Architect-Engineer services for design of project VGLZ96529, Composite Fire Station Selfridge Air National Guard Base Michigan. This project is a `large' facility which includes 12 major and 3 minor vehicles providing Structural and Crash/Rescue capability for the Base and Airfield. Contract will be for Type ``A'' Investigative Services with options for Type ``B'' Design Services and Type ``C'' Construction Inspection Services. The criteria for A-E selection, in order of importance, are (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of the required services (2) Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required (3) Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time frame (4) Past performance on contracts with government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules (5) Location in the geographical area and knowledge of the locality of the project (Firms within 70 miles of Selfridge ANG Base MI will be given greater consideration) (v) Volume of work awarded by the Department of Defense during the previous twelve months. Architect - Engineer firms meeting the requirements described in this announcement are invited to submit and to be received by this office within thirty (30) calendar days of this announcement, both a completed SF 254 ``US Government Architect-Engineer Questionnaire'' (if a current form, less than one (1) year old, has been previously submitted a letter so stating will suffice) and a SF 255 ``Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire'' for this specific project. No other general notification to firms under consideration is made and no further action is required. This is not a Request For Proposals.
