Description of content: This Standard establishes the minimum levels of energy efficiency for central-type air conditioners; it also specifies the test method to be used for verifying compliance and defines the labelling requirements for public information. This Standard applies to new central-type electric air conditioners with a cooling capacity of 10540 W to 17580 W operated by mechanical compression that consist of one or more modules or cabinets and include an air-cooled internal coil, a compressor and an external coil, marketed in Mexico. 7.
