Technical and engineering support related to the Test and Evaluation (T&E) of the AEGIS Combat System and AEGIS Weapon System. This includes the establishment of test approach, development of test specifications, conduct of test operations, and the analysis of collected data. The establishment of test approach requires detailed understanding of system performance requirements and system design in order to architect a test program resulting in an operationally certified system computer program. The development of test specifications includes test plans, test requirements matrices, step-by-step test procedures and analysis plans, all of which require a detailed knowledge of the system. Test operations require hands-on operation of computers, consoles and other equipment as well as scheduling of events. Analysis of data requires a detailed knowledge of the system for determining if demonstrated performance is the expected performance and explaining any differences. This effort also requires intimate knowledge of simulation systems used to stimulate tactical software (wrap-around) as well as analytical tools used to evaluate system performance and provide counter solutions (systems). The estimated manyears of technical support per annum is as follows: Year 1 - 321, Year 2 - 350, Year 3 - 382, Year 4 - 411, Year 5 - 436.
