synopsis/request for quotation for commercial items prepared in
accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with
additional information included in this notice. This announcement
constitutes the only request for quotation; proposals are being
requested and a written quotation will not be issued. The request for
quotation incorporates provision and clauses in effect through Federal
Acquisition Circular 90-37. The US Coast Guard intends to negotiate
with DIT-MCO International of 5612 Brighton Terrace, Kansas City, MO,
the OEM provider of the services described below. The Standard
Industrial Classification Code is 3599. The small business size
standard is 500 employees. Items/Services required:
Rebuild/remanufacture of one (1) DIT-MCO 9500to include the following:
CLIN 1; Replace existing DCSII with DCSIII Digital Comparator
Subsystem with documentation; CLIN 2; CVT-1 Calibration Verification
Tool with Program; CLIN 3; ATA Terminal Selector Modification replaces
existing terminal, Logic Assembly, Test Location Controller with 30K
12B ATA Terminal Selector, Panel Assembly Power Switch, Test Location
Controller, Associated ?Cables and Hardware; CLIN 4; Installation and
System Check-out; CLIN 5; DCS III Phase two (2) Board Level Spares Kit.
Drawings or specifications are not available and cannot be furnished by
the Government. Packaging shall be in accordance with Standard
Commercial Packaging. Items are to be delivered to USCG Aircraft Repair
& Supply Center, Receiving Section, Bldg. 63, Elizabeth City, NC
27909-5001. Final Acceptance shall be at destination. Closing date and
time for receipt of offers is 23 Sep 1996, 3:00pm, Eastern Standard
Time. Facsimile Offers are acceptable and may be forwarded via Fax

awarded based on technical capability. Offerors are instructed to
