Sandberg at (404)842-6553 Provide all necessary labor, materials and equipments required for providing the following work at CDC Facilities, Building A, Lawrenceville Campus, Lawrenceville, Georgia. Work includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of pumps, valving, piping, and controls, and rebuilding chillers. The following is a general description of required work: (a) Replacement of three tower-water pumps. (b) Install electronic controls to chilled water plant equipment as part of Building Automation System expansion. (c) Replacement of isolation valves, complete with automatic operators, for three chillers. (d) Rebuilding three centrifugal chillers with new external oil filters, bearing and seal replacements. (e) Removal of hazardous materials are not a part of this project. All known asbestos removal will be completed under a separate project before the execution of this contract. This procurement is unrestricted as to the size of business concerns. Cost range for this requirement is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Bid bonds will be required. Subsequently, Payment and Performance bonds will be required from the successful Offeror. Solicitation Package 96-163 will be available on or about September 17, 1996.
