combined synopsis/request for quotation for commercial items prepared
in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with
additional information included in this notice. This announcement
constitutes the only request for quotation; proposals are being
requested and a written request for quotation/solicitation will not be
issued. The request for quotation incorporates provision and clauses
in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-39. This is an
unrestricted requirement for the procurement of the following: Clin 1:
Photo Digital Processing equipment or equivalent with the following
features: RF83570 Film Scanner, High Speed, direct scanning with any
film format from 35mm up through 6 x 7 cm; Computer 9500 180/MP, fast
and powerful multiprocessor CPU containing the latest version of Power
PC chips; Radius Thundercolor 30/1600 PCI, capable of producing high
resolution graphics of 1600 x 1200; extended keyboard, required for
computer operation; 17'' Multiscan display, a large multiscan monitor
with multi-resolution whichprovides sharp, clean images while
displaying tools; photoshop 3.0.5/MAC, premier photographic image
manipulation software, software compatible with many hardware
components; Pictrography 3000 W/48MB W/Base, print sizes up to 8 ?x
10'', distilled water is only chemical used, image file storage
capability allows continued printing while freeing up the computer;
Packagizer for PG3000, prints multiple copies (various sizes) from a
single image on the same sheet of paper, eliminates copy and paste
time; PRO Digital Camera DCS 420C, high resolution color digital camera
compatible with existing lens, capable of storing multiple images using
PCMCIA cars, images are immediately available for computer printing;
Removable Media and Filter kit 420, proper PCMCIA cards compatible with
DCS 420C camera, hot-mirror filter compatible with DCS 420C camera. The
supplier is to provide installation and training on all equipment
purchased. The supplier will also offer a maintenance contract on
selected equipment to be maintainedby factory authorized service
personnel. Your offer must include sufficient equipment specifications
for the Government to be able to determine if our needs are met. Items
are to be delivered to USCG Aircraft Repair & Supply Center, Receiving
Section, Bldg. 63, Elizabeth City, NC 27909-5001. Final Acceptance
shall be at destination. Closing date and time for receipt of offers is
24 Sept 1996, 3:00pm, Eastern Standard Time. Facsimile Offers are
acceptable and may be forwarded via Fax Number (919)335-6496. FAR
provision, 52.212-2 does not apply in that award will be made to the
offeror who submits the lowest price for a system meeting all of our
stated requirements. Offerors are instructed to include a completed
copy of FAR provision 52.212-3 ''Offeror Representations and
Certifications -- Commercial Items: with their bid. If a copy of this
certification is needed, it may be requested by calling the contact
number identified above. Offers may be submitted on company letterhead
stationery indicatingthe nomenclature, part number, unit price, and
extended price for each item offered; plus the FOB point, and any
discount offered for prompt payment, and the business size standard and
any minority classification. The offer must be signed by a company
representative authorized to commit the company. The following FAR

for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT
Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide
