59 -- MARKET SURVEY FOR A TIME AND MATERIALS CONTRACT TO PROVIDE ENGINEERING SUPPORT FOR THE AN/APR-39A(V)2 POC Andre Hastie, Project Leader, (908) 427-2399. This is a market survey to locate additional sources for a Time and Materials (T&M) contract. The purpose of thie contract is to provide engineering support for the AN/APR-39A(V)2 Radar Signals Detecting Set. This will include installation and integration efforts on multiple aircraft. Current source for this system AN/APR-39A(V)2 is Litton Applied Technology Division (ATD). The Government does not have drawings or a performance specification for the AN/APR-39A(V)2 at this time. The system baseline will not be secured for two more years. The system is currently being modified by Litton ATD. Suppliers capable of performing the services must so indicate by writing to Commander, CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-RD-NV-SR-S, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5000. The response must include evidence of providing engineering support for installation and integration efforts on multiple aircraft for the AN/APR-39A(V)2 and documentation to demonstrate the offeror's capability to perform the services for the system. Successful suppliers may be required to warrant that the services will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Government.
