The project requires the removal of small amounts of asbestos containing pipe insulation and removal of approximately 8,400 square feet of asbestos contaminated soil located in the crawl space underneath Bldg. No. 252, Richards-Gebaur Memorial Airport, Kansas City, Missouri. The use of high efficiency particulate air filter will be required as well as air monitoring and sampling. The estimated construction cost is between $25,000 and $100,000. A payment bond or other payment protection will be required. The completion time is 90 days. This project is issued under simplified acquisition procedures with award being determined on the basis of price and price related factors.
